The purpose
of the Longview-Kelso Kennel Club is to
further the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs, to protect
and advance the interests of all breeds of pure-bred dogs, to
encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience
trials, to conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and obedience
trials under the rules of AKC, to help educate the public about all
breeds of dogs during any event this club sponsor, to help prevent
cruelty to animals by supporting efforts to rescue and re-home
abandoned dogs and to provide information and educational materials
at club events and on the club website.
